Volleyball

Indoor and beach programs expanding across schools and communities.

THE STORY

Volleyball has quietly become one of South Sudan's strongest school sports. With minimal equipment — a net and a ball — schools across the country have built thriving programs for both girls and boys.

The federation manages indoor and beach volleyball pathways, with national teams competing in regional CAVB events. Women's volleyball in particular has produced standout players who anchor university squads abroad.

Current priorities are training certified referees, equipping schools with regulation nets, and creating a permanent training base in Juba.
